Our client is a systems integrator who has a history of success dating back to the mid-1970’s. They are searching for an experienced Controls Engineer to join their team. They are a full-service control systems integrator, and you will have the ability to work on a wide variety of projects for clients in several different industries. You will receive great base compensation along with an annual bonus and great benefits.

• Research, develop, and design electrical components, equipment, and systems
• PLC and robotic programming, development
• Coordinate large projects and typically direct a team of several technical professionals
• Keep track of all project costs and stay within budget
• Work with contractors/customer to oversee and assist the control system installation
• Analyze product and equipment specifications and performance requirements
• Provide technical information related to manufacturing or processing techniques
• Servo and motion control development
• Travel to customer site locations approximately 25% of the time
• Provide end-user training

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience
• Prior experience with PLC, HMI programming and development
• Servo and motion control experience
• Project management background
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar function
• Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time
• Must be able to work independently
• Highly analytical, detail-oriented, self-motivated
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
