Job DescriptionThe University of Toledo College of Law is seeking a Visiting Assistant Professor for the academic year. Subject matter can include, but is not limited to:
Constitutional Law and Property.
The core responsibilities of this position include teaching courses, scholarly research and writing, and service to students, the College of Law, the University, and the broader legal community.
The expected start date for this one year appointment is August 24, 2026. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis, but priority consideration will be given to candidates who apply by March 4, 2026. Inquiries can be directed to Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, Evan Zoldan dan.
The University of Toledo is a comprehensive metropolitan public university with graduate programs in Law, Medicine, Engineering, and Pharmacy, among others. Filling this position is subject to funding availability and approval of the Provost.
Minimum QualificationsApplicants should possess a juris doctorate or equivalent with an outstanding academic record, a commitment to excellence and a demonstrated ability to maintain effective and respectful working relationships with the campus community.
Preferred QualificationsPreferred qualifications include: excellent academic credentials, scholarly publications or demonstrated scholarly potential and meaningful legal experience.
