WHAT IS KIDSTRONG? Kid Strong helps parents build stronger, smarter, more athletic kids. It is a milestone accelerator for kids walking through 11 years old. We help parents discover their child’s superpowers and build future-ready kids who are confident making friends, running the playground, and raising their hands high in the classroom.

• Coaches with an athletic or coaching background who ideally have experience coaching kids ages up to 11 years old
• Coaching focuses on brain, physical, and character development stemming from an evolving monthly curriculum
• Ideal candidate must be comfortable speaking to parents/guardians regarding the why behind the Kid Strong curriculum
• Typical class times: weekdays 9 am–11 am and evenings until 7 pm; weekends typically 8 am through lunch
• Flexible work schedule depending on center needs
• Coaching children during birthday parties, camps, and parents’ nights out

• Coach classes with 6 to 15 children, ages roughly from 12 months to 11 years
• Teach the Kid Strong curriculum as provided by the HQ programming team
• Ensure classes start and end on schedule and follow the curriculum pace
• Greet students and their parents/guardians at the beginning of class
• Maintain a dynamic, fun, motivational, and professional demeanor while leading class
• Demonstrate and manage the implementation of various exercises
• Ensure cleanliness of the center including lobby, bathrooms, and floors; manage trash, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing equipment
• Use the KS Coach App to record class data and provide records for parents (attendance, awards, etc.)
• Communicate professionally with teammates in Slack and check messages regularly
• Complete trainings through Fran Connect as required by HQ Training and Certification
• Work in a physically intensive environment, moving equipment up to 25 pounds as needed
• Work hands-on with kids to ensure proper technique and safety
• Assist parents of children up to age 3 with class direction and flow
• Attend monthly center staff programming meetings to receive next month’s curriculum training
• Attend additional mandatory staff meetings as required
• Learn and manage Coach Kid Strong Camp during school breaks
• Obtain certified status by HQ Training and Certification team
• Attend monthly center staff meetings to receive next month’s curriculum training

• Passion for working with children
• Prior experience coaching students within the Kid Strong age range preferred
• Experience speaking to and educating parents on the Kid Strong curriculum
• Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise techniques, and body mechanics
• CPR certified
• Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
• Self-starter who gets the job done
• Enjoys being in the spotlight

Compensation: $18.00 per hour

Kid Strong is a private child development training center focused on brain, physical, and character development for ages walking through 11 years old. Kid Strong offers a science-based curriculum that is parent-focused and taught by professionals.
