Job Description

Activities of the Business Development Manager – Industrial Solutions include furthering relationships with existing clients, prospecting new clients, troubleshooting with clients to develop solutions, supporting proposal and estimating efforts, participating in industry events, and using a CRM to manage contacts and leads.

Desired Experiences
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in MEP maintenance, construction, or fabrication; 15+ years preferred.
  • High School Education or equivalent (required).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other Engineering (plus, but not required).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Excel in a collaborative, team environment where every voice matters.
  • Support existing clients in achieving their goals by providing solutions and maintaining relationships.
  • Prospect new clients and build relationships to support their goals.
  • Set up meetings between client decision‑makers and the company’s practice leaders.
  • Support the development of proposals and quotes, such as schedules or estimates.
  • Maintain CRM data set including leads, opportunities, contacts, companies, and competitors.
  • Attend industry events to expand the network and promote Kokosing.
  • Participate in key industry groups at local, state, and national levels.
  • Other duties as assigned.
