Summary
The primary purpose of this position is to provide clerical assistance to staff of the Asset Management Department and to provide front-line customer service to Affordable Housing participants. The incumbent receives all phone calls and in-person inquiries for the assigned AMP’s. All activities support Lucas Metropolitan Housing ("LMH") mission, strategic goals, and objectives.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Answer incoming calls and receive walk-in visitors, respond to general inquiries from other departments, staff, contractors, residents, and the general public, transfer calls to the appropriate staff member or department.
- Enter maintenance work orders for assigned Amps.
- Attend AMP and department meetings, record minutes, and distribute time-sensitive information.
- Assist with maintaining resident filing system and clerical procedures; maintain accurate and essential files while confirming the security of such records.
- Assist with scheduling and processing inspections and generate inspection correspondence; ensure that all inspection paperwork contains all relevant data.
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and restock as required.
- Demonstrate regular and prompt attendance.
- Meet all job safety requirements and all applicable OSHA/PERRP safety standards that pertain to essential functions and maintain licenses and certifications as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent and a minimum of one (1) year of general clerical experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Technical SkillsStrong computer skills (e.g. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Ability to learn other computer software programs as required by assigned tasks.
Physical DemandsRemain in a stationary position; daily movements include sitting, standing, operating computers and other office equipment; moving about the office; attending onsite and offsite meetings. Communicate via email and verbally via telephone. Occasionally transport up to 25 pounds.
Work EnvironmentOffice environment. Noise level usually moderate.
