Job DescriptionThis position will coordinate activities and operations and perform specialized administrative work in support of The Herb Innovation Center (THInC).
Communication and Other Skills Required- Ability to communicate and serve effectively with a broad range of diverse people, culture, and ethnic backgrounds, maintaining good working relationships across the University and business and academic communities

- Proficiency in computer software including Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Canva
- Ability to learn new software programs

- High school diploma or GED and 1 year clerical and office experience OR vocational training/associate’s degree in fread, office management, administrative services, or a closely related field
- At least three years of experience working with budgets, preferably for collaborative projects or large, externally funded initiatives
- Experience working in a sponsored research office, university grants accounting office, or in a business or financial management role on federally funded grants
- Demonstrated experience managing or supporting compliance, reporting, or fiscal coordination for externally funded projects
- Familiar with SaaS management platforms (CRM and/or Association Management; Member clicks preferred), web casting and knowledge management platforms (Mediasite preferred), virtual meeting platforms (Teams preferred), and social media platforms (Linked In, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter preferred)
- Concur experience would be a plus along with experience with submitting UT Foundation check requests
- Knowledge of University policies, procedures and operations
