Sr. Database Administrator - DBA; on-site

ISHPI is seeking a Sr. Database Administrator (on-site) to support the Command and Control (C2) Afloat Integration Support (C2

AIS) for the U.S. Coast Guard Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber and Intelligence Service Center (C5

ISC) in Portsmouth, VA. This role will manage the supported systems of the C5

ISC and provides services to include system engineering, software engineering, hardware engineering, network engineering, test engineering, electronic engineering, and technical writing.

Administers and controls data resources; implementation of data dictionaries; data security and integrity; performance of database backups; use of data modeling techniques to analyze and specify data requirements and structures; definition of logical and physical data views; and tuning database performance.

High School diploma and certificate from an accredited Community or Technical College in database administration, Oracle database certificate, or Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA) certificate. Minimum of eight (8) years of database administration experience is required.

A current Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent certification is required; specific information assurance certification requirements may be required.

Requires U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD government security clearance.
