The Information Technology Specialist supports and maintains Morgan Concrete’s network, systems, and software to ensure that all employees have the technology they need for daily functions and that the organization’s sensitive files and information remain safe and intact.

• Working knowledge of relevant server operating systems, software, and programming
• Knowledgeable in the use of VMware vSphere Client preferred
• Knowledgeable in the setup and maintenance of firewalls preferred
• Proficient in Google Suites
• Work closely with other team members to meet company goals
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking

• Provide 24/7 System and Software Support to the Company Employees
• Develop and maintain a company asset list
• Maintain stock room of necessary backup equipment
• Manage backup software at the corporate office and the plants
• Manage antivirus software
• Manage and Support Camera and Security Service at all Locations
• Manage Microsoft 365 Licenses and Subscriptions
• Manager Google Suite applications, users, and subscriptions
• Administrate and Manage Corporate VMware Servers
• Keep current on all software updates
• Monitor the health of servers
• Maintain the physical condition of servers
• Make recommendations
• Administrate and manage the corporate network
• Manage internet service provider accounts
• Manage firewalls at each location and apply firmware updates
• Support Time and Attendance Systems
• Administer and support the maintenance software system
• Tablet capabilities for maintenance technicians
• Support Fleet Camera Software System – support users and develop reporting and scoring
• Support Sage Accounting Software – import data & software updates
• Support Batching and Dispatching Systems
• Support Communication between each software
• Support import and export of data
• Develop E-ticketing
• Develop and Maintain Driver Tablet Program
• Daily Vehicle Inspection Reports
• Training Videos
• Required Forms and E-Signatures

• A degree in Information Technology is preferred
• 3-5 years of work experience in IT is preferred
• Ability to work at all times of the day when needed for business operations
• Ability to travel to each plant when business needs warrant
