A growing, highly regulated financial services organization is adding a net‑new SEC Reporting & Regulatory Accounting role to support its expanding finance and compliance function. This is a high‑visibility opportunity to work directly with senior leadership and build a long‑term career in financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and analytics.

• Prepare and support quarterly and annual SEC filings
• Compile, validate, and reconcile regulatory and general ledger data
• Prepare state regulatory filings and compliance schedules
• Analyze variances and trends, and prepare financial and statistical reports
• Track regulatory deadlines and ensure all filings are completed on time
• Support tax filings and coordinate data with external tax advisors
• Maintain audit‑ready documentation and respond to regulator or auditor requests
• Identify opportunities to streamline and improve reporting and compliance processes

• 2+ years of accounting or financial reporting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets (SQL a plus)
• Familiarity with financial statements and regulatory or tax reporting
• Experience with general ledger systems and reporting tools (Workiva a plus)
• Highly organized, deadline‑driven, and able to work independently

• Prior SEC, regulatory, or tax reporting exposure
