Quality Associate Engineer

Quality Associate Engineer (Office Hour / Toa Payoh)

To perform work in Post Market Surveillance, so as to deliver satisfactory quality work / investigation in the field of market returned products and within an agreed timeline. Scope of work includes, but not limited to, the following:

• a. Investigation of Field Returned Product:
  • Take ownership to track status of inbound / outbound delivery of returned components / products.
  • Verify consumer complaint symptom.
  • Maintain field returned master database.
  • Provide preliminary data analysis based on field returned master database.
  • Own preparation for QCT meeting (Quality Complaint Team):
    • Compile & send list of samples to be reviewed.
    • Provide pre-investigation outcome (e.g., confirmation of consumer complaint / checks and measurement data).
    • Support QCT per instruction / requirement of engineers.
  • For Safety field returns in addition to above steps, take ownership and update status in Safety return handling system in SAP. Ensure update of Safety system deliverables till closure with 8D report.
• b. Work Area Maintenance:
  • Ensure safe and tidy work conditions (practice 6S housekeeping).
  • Maintain test equipment, jigs/fixtures etc. in calibrated/good working condition.
  • Management/Replenishment of Lab consumables.

• Diploma in Electrical / Electronics.
• For Engineer/Team Lead. Experience in trouble shooting, failure mode analysis and pro-activeness in problem solving & documentation of findings.
• Experience in a Quality Related function is preferred.
