Shift Manager - Cage Operations

The Role

An opportunity is open for a Casino Cage - Shift Manager. The role ensures compliance with regulatory Policies & Procedures to safeguard the Company’s assets, assists the Cage Manager in management situations, and promotes superior customer service.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Cage personnel in all areas.
• Conduct training of Policies and Procedures as well as basic machinery, i.e. currency counters, adding machines, and computers.
• Handle employee and customer related problems with composure and professionalism at all times.
• Assist Cage Manager with the daily operation including training, counseling and supervision of personnel.
• Maintain adequate staffing levels in the Cage department through scheduling and by monitoring customer volume.
• Review departmental reports addressing potential conflicts and/or misinformation.
• Ensure a maximum level of company wide service and satisfaction is achieved and maintained at all times.
• Held accountable for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.
• Bring employee concerns and/or problems and unusual activities to the attention of the Cage Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must have three years of Supervisory and coin/currency handling experience.
• Must have decision-making capabilities and experience in directing others.
• Must be extremely numbers oriented and have typing, and adding machine skills.
• Must be computer literate.
• Must be able to communicate with the public in a clear friendly manner.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours.

License Requirements

Must secure the appropriate RI mandated gaming licenses from RI Department of Business Regulations (D ).

Working Conditions

• Mostly indoors and generally climate-controlled environment.
• Exposed to smoke, bright lights and noise.
• Operations of various machines.
• Working with others as well as independently.

Target Salary Range

($65,000.00)
