Total Social is working with Devon County Council to recruit an experienced locum Children's Social Worker for their Children Looked After, Corporate Parenting Team based in Tiverton. We are looking for experienced social workers for our North & Mid teams to support children and young people in our care. Focusing on family‑led outcomes, you will build and maintain positive relationships with children, young people and their families to achieve safety and stability.

You will model high standards of professional social work practice and will be able to work at pace in a high‑pressurised environment. An accommodation/commuter allowance of £150 per week is offered for candidates who meet the eligibility guidelines.

Qualifying candidates require at least three years’ post‑qualifying experience in direct or permanent employment with an English local authority in children’s services.
