Assistant Site Manager

A leading international renewable energy service provider is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of a 45MW ground-mounted solar farm project in Tiverton, Devon. Working 10-hour days, you will assist the Site Manager in overseeing daily construction activities, supervising civil, mechanical and electrical subcontractors, and ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

Responsibilities include supporting HSE, coordinating plant and materials, and maintaining accurate site documentation. Previous supervisory or assistant site management experience within construction is required; solar farm experience is most desirable, although strong civil, electrical or building backgrounds will be considered. This is a 12-month contract, likely to run for 15-18 months, operating outside IR35. Saturday working hours are 8am-1pm, with workers paid for a full day.
