Estimator required to join leading groundworks / rc frame contractor based in the Bedfordshire area. The Estimator would ideally come from a groundworks / rc frame background. Estimators with project experience covering groundworks and rc frame projects would be an advantage for the role. Estimator duties will include but not limited to Monitoring of relevant portals for tender opportunities. Download of Invitations to Tender into tender folders.

Preparation of tenders. Attend tender site visits as required. Production of preliminary tender method statements, safety plans and programmes when required. Sending out sub-contractor tender enquiries when required. Liaising with Buyers/Plant Dept/Accounts for materials/plant/labour costs. Attend tender adjudications with Commercial Team. Submission of tenders to clients and/or portals. Preparation of PQQs when required. Updating client Framework information when requested. Attend internal handover meetings to handover successful tenders from Estimator to Site Team.
