The People service desk team supports all services at MDDC and manages a variety of queries from across the organisation. Following training and guidance, this role is applicable for hybrid working. As a People Services Coordinator you will be the first point of contact for any queries relating to Human Resources, Health & Safety and Learning & Development.
This will involve either resolving queries directly or escalating them to the correct individual where appropriate while maintaining a focus on customer service. A People Services Coordinator is there to support the processes employees go through during their entire employment at Mid Devon District Council in a robust and accurate way.
- Provide support to the People service desk
- Provide telephone and online advice to members of staff
- Assist in advertisement of new vacancies
- Minute Taking at various kinds of meetings
- Good Standard of English and Maths
- Competent in Microsoft programs
- Able to prioritise/organise workload
- Significant and demonstrable administrative experience
