Palm Point Behavioral Health is a 74-bed behavioral health hospital located in Titusville, Florida minutes from Cape Canaveral. It treats adults, children, and adolescents that suffer from a wide range of behavioral health diagnoses including depression, anxiety, and substance abuse in a modern and well-appointed facility. Palm Point Behavioral Health offers inpatient treatment options and serves communities in Brevard County and beyond.

Titusville, located on Florida’s Space Coast, is approximately 30 miles north of historic Cocoa Beach and 40 miles east of Orlando’s famous theme parks. In Titusville you can tour the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, and Canaveral National Seashore. The city also offers an ideal climate, close proximity to multiple dining and shopping options, and a very friendly community.

Supervisor Nurse will be responsible for the delivery of quality nursing care for all patients on the inpatient units. Oversees all unit activities including admissions, dis mye, crisis intervention, seclusion and restraints, and Baker Act. Oversees schedule to ensure adequate coverage and proper break/meal time. Accountable for the implementation of a collaborative care plan as prescribed by the physician(s) and treatment team.

Provides mark leadership in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Provides medical management and assessment of patients. Ensures environmental safety. Works with the treatment team to provide a consistently therapeutic milieu. Oversees Mental Health Techs, administers medication, and provides medication for the nursing staff when the pharmacy is closed. Coordinates all medical codes and ensures they are carried out appropriately and safely.

• 5 years RN experience with 2 years in behavioral health preferred.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
• Superb written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time‑management skills and ability to organize negativity coordinate multiple projects at once.
• Flexible team player willing to do what it takes to grilling get the job done; adaptable and enjoys a challenge.
• Ability to keep company confidences.
