Job Summary

The Industrial Janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout office, common, and outdoor areas of an industrial facility. This role requires a dependable, flexible individual who takes pride in cleanliness and is willing to assist with a variety of tasks as needed.

Schedule:

Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour

• Clean and maintain offices, conference rooms, and common areas
• Empty trash and recycling from all designated areas daily
• Clean and sanitize lunch/break rooms, including tables, counters, sinks, and appliances
• Clean and sanitize restrooms at least twice daily and restock supplies
• Wash interior and exterior windows and glass surfaces
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust as needed
• Clean outdoor areas, including picking up trash in parking lots and around the building
• Maintain cleanliness of sidewalks, entrances, and outdoor walkways, including power washing as needed
• Assist with light outdoor maintenance such as keeping flower beds free of trash and debris
• Refill supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to supervisors
• Assist with additional cleaning or facility-related tasks as needed
• Willingly jump in to help with other duties when required

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred but not required
• Ability to follow cleaning schedules and instructions
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
