This is a full-time, on-site Radiation Therapist role based in Titusville, FL. The Radiation Therapist will be responsible for delivering high-quality radiation therapy to patients as directed by a Radiation Oncologist. Responsibilities include preparing and positioning patients, operating radiation therapy equipment, implementing prescribed treatment plans, ensuring radiation safety protocols, and maintaining accurate patient records. The role also requires collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective and compassionate patient care.
Qualifications- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with a focus on Therapy is required.
- Proficiency in Radiation Safety practices and Dosimetry.
- Knowledge and experience in operating radiation therapy equipment and understanding radiation principles.
- A strong foundation in Medicine with an emphasis on oncology and patient-centered care.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- CPR certification and ability to respond calmly in critical situations.
- Experience in a hospital or oncology setting is preferred.
- Associate degree or certification in Radiation Therapy is required; a bachelor’s degree is a plus.
