Basic Qualifications

Sys Integratn/Test Eng Sr
Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Mechanism Manufacturing Engineer in Kennedy Space Center, Florida to plan and author procedures for the Orion Spacecraft Elements Team and provide floor support for Mechanical and Electrical Integration environments.
Responsibilities include:
- Creating and/or developing mechanical manufacturing work instructions.
- Determining build sequence, selecting or designing required tools, and solving production problems during build of mechanical parts and assemblies.
- Investigating design/manufacturing factors such as equipment or part availability, manufacturability, ease of assembly, and large assembly management.
- Developing and maintaining all assembly documentation.
- Troubleshooting/correcting anomalies and discrepant hardware.
- Performing producibility reviews on engineering designs/drawings to assess manufacturability, ease of assembly, and material availability.
- Interfacing routinely with program personnel and reporting project status to leadership.
- Ability to work Sunday through Thursday is required.
Desired skills:
Willingness and ability to work alternative shifts including 2nd and split shifts.
First shift. 9x80 schedule with every other Friday off.
Location & Work SettingOnsite full-time at Kennedy Space Center, Florida.
