Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and responsible Foreman Electrician (Master or Licensed) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical work, strong leadership abilities, and a commitment to safety and quality. This role requires someone who can effectively manage projects on site, mentor and teach team members, and ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
This is NOT a standard 9 to 5 same thing everyday environment. You must be able to travel M-F in state and out of state and work all three shifts as project locations and work shifts are customer dependent and vary by week.
You need to be able to work on a wide variety of commercial electrical projects such as signage, lighting, automated controls, and solar and be willing to continue to learn and teach in a dynamic environment. You must be comfortable working on ladders, lifts, bucket trucks, and rooftops. You must be willing and able to work inside and outside in varying conditions and in small spaces.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and supervise electrical teams on various projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to code.
- Provide hands‑on training and mentorship to electricians and apprentices to promote skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Manage all work‑related timelines, resources, and communication to ensure successful job completion.
- Interpret and adhere to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant regulations and standards for all installations, repairs and updates.
- Conduct safety inspections and enforce safety protocols on job sites.
- Collaborate with team members, project managers, contractors, and clients to coordinate work and resolve issues.
- Ability to follow blueprints and schematics and maintain accurate documentation and reports related to project progress and compliance.
- Master Electrician Level Experience or Licensed Electrician certification required.
- DOT Certification or ability to obtain DOT Certification within 90 days is required
- Proven experience as a Foreman or lead electrician on commercial or industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and ability to apply it on the job.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and working knowledge of Office 365
- Demonstrated ability to teach, mentor, and develop team members.
- Exceptional trouble shooting, project management and organizational skills.
- Highly responsible with a strong focus on safety and quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
