Shipping & Receiving/Packout Associate/Material Handler
- Full-time
Shift options and responsibilities across multiple areas. The position is offered in both day and night shifts with hourly pay rates, and requires the ability to cross‑train across teams.
Shipping & ReceivingShifts:
1st Shift – 7:30 AM to 6:10 PM ($11.50/hr); 2nd Shift – 2:00 PM to 12:40 AM ($12.65/hr).
Responsibilities:
- Picking of orders
- Packing of orders
- Running of dispatch reports
- Occasional de‑kitting of product
- Ensure quality product
- Meet time standard based on daily rate
- Follow safety guidelines
- Maintain good housekeeping
- Measures of success – minimal to no miss shipments, minimal to no quality issues
- Delivering to daily plan
- No safety incidences following all safety guidelines
- Willingness to cross‑train in support of other teams
Education / Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year experience in a factory environment, preferably
- Experience with UPS/Fed Ex and other transportation companies
- Experience processing export orders
- Able to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly
Shifts:
1st Shift – 6:00 AM to 4:40 PM ($11.50/hr); 2nd Shift – 4:30 PM to 3:10 AM ($12.65/hr).
Responsibilities:
- Packages products according to established procedures
- Uses written list to pick parts needed for the order
- Scans picked items into the inventory system
- Follows quality control procedures; arranges items to be packaged on the table; reports problems
- Operates and monitors equipment used in the configuration process as needed
- Packs product following detailed written instructions
- Moves packaged products to the staging area for storage/shipping
- Willingness to cross‑train in support of other teams
Education and/or
Experience:
- High School Degree or equivalent
- One year of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Intermediate computer skills
Shifts:
1st Shift – 7:00 AM to 5:40 PM ($11.50/hr); 2nd Shift – 3:00 PM to 1:40 AM ($12.65/hr).
Responsibilities:
- Tracks and processes the general flow of inventory throughout the packaging and distribution processes
- Ensure packing lines have adequate levels of materials for the pack‑out process
- Enter finished good production figures into the computer system to adjust inventory levels
- Transport finished goods to assigned areas for shipment
- Physically move inventory as necessary to efficiently process orders
- Enter all inventory transfers into the computer system as they occur
- Investigate inventory discrepancies
- Perform daily cycle counts as assigned
- Other projects as assigned
- Pulling the product
- Process the orders
- Box it up and ship it to destination
- Willingness to cross‑train in support of other teams
