SUMMARYThe Production Planner plays a key role in bringing client projects to life through the careful planning and production oversight of each job. We’re looking for someone who is experienced in a variety of print production methods, highly organized, a strong communicator, and has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment for a growing company. This role will offer the right candidate the opportunity to work on exciting projects and put their skills to work for some of the world’s largest brands.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Manages all aspects of production for assigned jobs from start to finish.
- Deliver products on time while ensuring we’re meeting client expectations and quality standards.
- Own all internal and vendor communications to ensure customer requirements are met or exceeded.
- Provide consultation to Sales, Customer Service and Clients on best production practices.
- Create a great customer experience by producing and delivering world‑class print products.
- Coordinate outside vendor purchases in coordination with the Outsourcing Manager.
- Ensure all materials required for the job are accurately delivered within the appropriate time frame - paper, dies, cartons, etc...
- Ensure each job is planned within the given budget while achieving quality, accurate production and on‑time delivery.
- Attend internal meetings, bringing fresh ideas and solutions to the group whenever possible.
- Bring timely updates to the Production Manager of changes in schedules or specifications to jobs.
- Coordinate and communicate with department managers to ensure schedule and quality requirements are met.
- Ensure all proofs, draw downs and prototypes are of the highest quality and accuracy prior to delivering to the client.
- Assist with "Customer Ok’s" when clients are on‑site, when needed.
- Review project costs to ensure billing accuracy.
- Minimum of 10 years of direct industry experience in a production planning role
- Excellent project skills and problem solving
- Sound judgement and knows when to elevate issues and concerns of production projects
- The ability to interact and communicate with members of the internal team
- Great communication skills and a professional attitude
- Microsoft Office skills a must

$80,000 - $100,000 a year
