Schedule:
Monday–Friday 8:30am–5:30pm and one Saturday per month is required.

Your day to day as a Area Property ManagerAs an Area Property Manager at BNE Real Estate Group, you will have a blend of strategic oversight and hands-on management. You will manage property operations in Neptune and Aberdeen, NJ, ensuring smooth operations. Daily responsibilities include conducting regular site inspections, collaborating with maintenance and leasing teams, and addressing resident concerns to foster a welcoming environment.
You will plan and facilitate resident events to enhance community engagement and satisfaction. As a self-starter and team player, you will maintain organized records, oversee leasing processes, and drive sales initiatives. The role requires excellent communication and negotiation skills as you engage with residents and vendors to uphold our commitment to customer-centricity and excellence. Attention to detail is vital as you handle property management tasks efficiently and contribute to our high-performance culture.

- BS degree in related field
- 5+ years' experience in property management
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient in computer programs, including Microsoft Office and Yardi
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Well organized with excellent time management skills
- An in-depth knowledge of all rules, regulations and laws regarding property management
- Valid NJ real estate salesperson license
- Valid New Jersey Driver's License
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
- Work hours as required to complete assignments/projects
- Travel overnight as required
- Drive long distances throughout the workday and work week

- Personnel Management – Has the authority to hire, fire, advance, promote or change the status of employees reporting to them and/or makes recommendations to senior management regarding these decisions.
- Screen, hire, orient and train new personnel using company directives.
- Ensure staff efficiency through ongoing training, instruction, counseling and leadership.
- Plan weekly/daily office staff schedules and assignments.
- Coordinate maintenance schedule and assignments with Maintenance Supervisor.
- Administer action plans regarding employee performance problems and terminate properly when necessary.
