A Supv 2, Production is responsible for overseeing a wide variety of intermediate and advanced technologies production processes and operations of the department. Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; developing personal growth opportunities, and initiates and fosters a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.  Completes production plans by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities;

monitoring progress; revising schedules, resolving problems; reporting results or the process flow on shift production summaries. Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards. Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing basic production performance KPMs, records and data; answering questions and responding to request. Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.  In addition to the Production Supervisor position summary:  A Sr Production Supervisor will generally have an expanded scope of responsibility and increased complexity in the role.

Such as, will generally manage a larger team, multiple or varied departments, and/or multiple shifts. Sr Production Supervisors may also manage a combination of both exempt and non-exempt roles. The Sr Production Supervisor is more experienced to effectively manage the larger scope and complexity of the role.  Must manage intermediate and/or advanced technology equipment and processes.##
