Car Wash Manager in Training

Gas N Wash is looking for a high‑energy, experienced leader to guide our teams and deliver a one‑of‑a‑kind car wash experience. As a Manager‑in‑Training, you will learn day‑to‑day operations of the wash and provide support for the sites you train at.

Responsibilities
  • Provide an exceptional customer service experience for guests.
  • Present, promote, and sell car wash memberships.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Help train and develop new employees.
  • Motivate and coach your team as needed.
  • Prioritize responsibilities and multitask.
  • Work well in a team environment and individually.
  • Guide cars safely into the tunnel, learn tunnel operations and safety procedures.
  • Focus on growing sales and site profitability.
  • Maintain cleanliness of interior and exterior including landscaping.
  • Ensure safety procedures for guests and staff are followed.
  • Learn and maintain knowledge of equipment and troubleshoot, perform basic maintenance, and coordinate with maintenance teams.
  • Know chemicals and safely perform chemical transfers.
  • Handle inquiries, incidents, and issues promptly to maintain guest satisfaction.
  • Emphasize sales, customer satisfaction, and membership retention.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Any duties assigned by leadership.

Requirements
  • Open availability required, including weekends and holidays.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 2 years management or leadership experience required.
  • Exceptional leadership skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills for guest satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of business management practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organization and time management capabilities.
  • Strong work ethic and professional attitude.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work efficiently outdoors in all four seasons.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Mechanically inclined.
  • Travel between locations for training and development.
  • Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
