Overview

Description Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for executing full-cycle hiring processes across the organization, supporting onboarding, screening, and pipeline-building efforts. You’ll partner with hiring managers and HR leadership to deliver a high-quality candidate experience and build talent community pipelines for Proven IT.

Responsibilities
  • Draft and update job descriptions for open roles
  • Post job openings across job boards and recruiting platforms
  • Screen applications, coordinate 60- and 90-day check-ins and follow-ups
  • Conduct video screens and in-person interviews; handle candidate communication
  • Familiarity with modern sourcing techniques (Linked In Recruiter, job boards, employee referrals, social media, etc.)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Send onboarding emails and coordinate pre-hire screenings
  • Support onboarding logistics and build long-term candidate pipelines
  • Coordinate scheduling for all interviews with candidates and hiring teams
  • Collaborate with leadership to refine recruitment processes and candidate experience
  • Represent the company at job fairs and build academic partnerships
  • Assist with HR event coordination
  • Additional duties as assigned
Requirements & Skills
  • 1–3 years of recruiting experience preferred; IT or sales recruiting is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and candidate relationship management (CRM/ATS) tools
  • Team-oriented but capable of working independently
  • Creative problem solver with a proactive approach to talent challenges
  • Strong commitment to building a positive candidate experience and strong employer brand
  • Understanding employment laws and best hiring practices
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable form of transportation
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged computer and desk-based work
  • Frequent use of hands and arms for typing, filing, and handling materials
  • Ability to lift up to 15 lbs for print materials or welcome kits
Benefits

GROUP HEALTH INSURANCE: After a 30-day waiting period, full-time employees (who work at least 30 hours per week) and their dependents are eligible to enroll in health benefits utilizing the Cigna network. Health options include a choice of 2 PPO plans or a High Deductible Health Plan with employer contributions to a Health Savings Account (HSA). Dental benefits are available as well as a Vision PPO plan utilizing the Eye Med network.

Proven also offers voluntary worksite benefits including critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident coverage, short-term disability insurance, supplemental life and pet insurance. Additional offerings include an employee discount program, home and auto insurance services and commuter/transit FSA.

EMPLOYER PROVIDED LIFE/AD&D INSURANCE: After a 30-day waiting period, Proven IT provides a flat $25,000 Life Insurance benefit, administered by Blue Cross Blue Shield, to all full-time employees (who work at least 30 hours per week). Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) benefit payments are determined based on the type of loss incurred and are payable up to the full Life Insurance benefit amount.

Life and AD&D Insurance coverage amounts are reduced at ages 65, 70 and 75.

EMPLOYER PROVIDED LTD: Long-Term Disability (LTD) insurance is an employer-provided benefit and provides protection from loss of income in the event that an employee is unable to work due to illness, injury, or accident for a long period of time. The elimination period is 90 days, and the maximum benefit is 60% of covered payroll up to $6000/month. This benefit is paid entirely by Proven IT and has no cost to the employee.

EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM: All employees may utilize the Disability Resource Services through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois to assist themselves and their immediate family with convenient resources to help address emotional, legal and financial issues.
