About the job:

In this role, you will provide specialized gas fitting and HVAC support for both surface and underground operations. Working under the direction of the client’s supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining, inspecting, and repairing heating and cooling systems across multiple facilities.

You will support operational reliability and safety by ensuring all systems operate efficiently and reporting any deficiencies immediately.

Inspect and maintain underground refuge stations and machinery control center air conditioners.

Service rooftop air conditioners and building chiller units.

Maintain surface heating systems, including hot water boilers, Reznor natural gas heaters, industrial make-up heaters, and shaft burner systems.

Report any deficiencies found during maintenance or repairs to the supervisor.

Provide support on a part-time or full-time basis depending on the operational needs.

Participate in callouts as required.

Start/ End

Hours:

Monday
- Thursday, 10-hour day shifts (6:00 AM- 4:00 PM)

Call-outs as needed.

What you need:

Gas Fitter License (required).

Must be local to Timmins — this is not a camp job.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to site.

Experience servicing industrial or mining HVAC and heating systems.

Ability to work safely in both underground and surface environments.

Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills.

Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or with a small team.
