Technical Assistant; Entry-Level – Technical Division

Attawapiskat Security LP is seeking a motivated Entry-Level Technical Assistant tojoin our Technical Division. Reporting to the Senior Technical Advisor
,this role is ideal for individuals looking to start or build a career in electronic security systems. Training and mentorship will be provided.

The Technical Assistant will support the installation, service, and maintenance of electronic security systems in commercial and residential settings while delivering professional, client-focused service.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior technicians with installation and servicing of electronic securitysystems (access control, intrusion, video, and network systems)
• Supportpre-wiring, basic programming, testing, and commissioning of systems
• Helptroubleshoot and repair system issues under supervision
• Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and documentation
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members
• Followall Health & Safety requirements and jobsite expectations
• Maintaincompany tools, equipment, and vehicles

Qualifications

• Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education in Security, Technology, IT, or a related field is an asset)
• Basicmechanical or technical aptitude; willingness to learn
• Abilityto read manuals and follow technical instructions
• Valid GDriver’s Licence with a suitable driving record
• Strong communication skills in English (French and Cree are assets)
• Abilityto prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Comfortable using computers and learning new software
• Strong attention to detail and customer service mindset
