Job OverviewAir Liquide Home Healthcare Canada is recruiting a highly energetic and motivated bilingual RT / RPN for our Timmins branch. The RT/RPN provides all respiratory services with a focus on oxygen therapy, clinical and ventilatory support, and collaboration with referring physicians to ensure patient safety.
Responsibilities- Conduct a full respiratory assessment and diagnostics as applicable.
- Develop respiratory therapy treatment plans in consultation with the client, physicians, and care teams as per prescription and best practices.
- Deliver equipment and supplies as required and perform equipment quality control checks on a recurring basis.
- Provide appropriate follow-up to clients to evaluate effects of treatment, comfort while using treatment, and address therapy compliance.
- Assess clients’ home environment for safety, identify and address areas of concern.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, provide information/literature to prospective clients, and demonstrate/educate products and services.
- Maintain continuing education and knowledge of clinical best practices.
- Comply with and maintain knowledge of all funding processes and systems.
- When required, participate in sleep duties including initiating PAP therapy when prescribed.
- Licensed to practice with the provincial governing body.
- Bilingual (French/English) required.
- Strong cardio‑respiratory assessment skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Clear vulnerable persons check.
- Previous experience in the healthcare field is an asset.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft, Google applications, and Android.
