Sales Associate

Primary

Purpose:

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in retail to support selling initiatives and deliver the Kate Spade New York guest experience.

Responsibilities
  • Client & Service Expert:
    Achieves individual sales goals; develops strong product knowledge across all categories; delivers exemplary customer service by providing the ultimate Kate Spade experience; develops a personal connection with guests through effective use of selling skills.
  • Leadership Presence:
    Achieves personal sales goals; maintains extensive product knowledge; partners with Store Manager and Assistant Manager to elevate selling culture; partners to initiate business-driving events in store.
  • Building Brand Equity:
    Understands and communicates the Kate Spade New York brand aesthetic, philosophy, and lifestyle to the sales team and customers; builds strong relationships with clients as a brand ambassador; communicates client feedback to leadership to elevate service and sales; adheres to company policies with honesty and integrity.
  • Operational Excellence:
    Performs and supervises store opening and closing procedures including counting funds, completing deposits, and securing the facility.
Qualifications
  • The accomplished individual will possess: strong communication skills; proven ability and contribution to an elevated selling culture; elevated sense of personal style.
  • An outstanding professional will have: minimum 2-3 years' experience in luxury goods or a comparable retail environment; bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
  • Physical requirements:

    available to work store schedule, including evenings and weekends; standing for extended periods; ability to lift boxes up to 50 pounds; comfortable climbing ladders.

Work Setup: BASE PAY RANGE $15.00 to $17.00 hourly. Tapestry will comply with minimum wage requirements based on city, county, and state regulations.
