PART-TIME. Post Date: 01/14/2026. Close Date: 02/17/2026. Salary: $15.93 - $20.80 hourly. Direct Care up to $10/week.

Summary:

Provides routine services in recreational therapy programs to improve quality of life for residents of the NH Veterans Home.

Proposed

Schedule:

8:00am - 4:30pm shifts and 12:00pm - 8:30pm shifts. Every other weekend (additional $2.00/hour). Varying holidays.

• Monitor residents in individual and group recreational activities and facilitate participation.
• Plan, develop, implement, and lead daily activity groups, trips, and special events.

• MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  
  10th grade education.
• Your experience may be substituted per policy: each additional year of approved formal education may substitute for one year of required work experience, and vice versa.

• Valid driver’s license.

• Must be able to work on a rotating schedule that includes weekends and holidays.

• Recreational work experience involving persons with mental, emotional, or physical disabilities.
• Experience with gerontology and/or dementia and Alzheimer’s patients/residents.
• Certified Activity Professional or eligible to obtain certification.
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with all members of a team.
