Role

and Responsibilities

We are currently recruiting for a Full time Support Worker and also Bank/Casual Support Workers to join our team, at our Dollar service in Clackmannanshire
. The people we support live in their own flats in a shared building and require support with learning disabilities, mental health and past trauma. You will help them to build confidence and improve their independent living skills so they get the most from life. The people we support enjoy a wide range of activities, such as socialising, going to the movies, shopping, making Tiktoks, watching and playing football, cinema, walking, games and barbecues in their shared garden.

You will be positive, patient and supportive, helping them to try new activities and achieve goals including going to college and finding a job. A driver is essential for this role due to the location and restricted public transport there.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Spend your whole shift with the person you support, making the biggest impact on their lives.
  • Support with medication administration, cooking, helping the people we support to clean and maintain their homes and manage their finances.
  • Support social situations and respond in a trauma‑informed way.
  • Provide care 24 hours a day with flexibility to work a variety of shifts including day shifts, back shifts, waking nights and sleepovers, with some weekend work included.

- Sleepover finishing at 9am; ; ;  Night shift; .

Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience as a Care Assistant or Support Worker is welcome.
• A driver is essential for this role due to location.
• Willingness to undergo PVG check.
• We provide training, support and personal protective equipment.
• Flexible and reliable team players who can remain calm under pressure and build strong relationships.
