Job Overview

Working within a Faculty of the school, the teacher will teach and support the learning of pupils in accordance with the policies of the Faculty and the school. Teaching will consist of classes at all levels and stages. Success in the teaching responsibilities of the post will be determined by the improved outcomes, participation and successes achieved by the young people for whom the teacher is responsible.

The successful candidate will be expected to adhere to all GTC guidelines, promote the values of the school and be encouraged to contribute to the life of the school.

This role involves teaching classes for all levels and stages, supporting pupil learning, assessing outcomes and participation, and contributing to the overall school life.

• Registered GTCS teacher
• Eligible to work in Scotland (you will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update)
• PVG application cost will be deducted from first pay if salary over £38,000
