Forklift Operative

We are currently recruiting for a FLT driver on behalf of our fantastic client based in Tilbury Docks. This is working for an importer and supplier of paper, timber and other commodities.
Payrate: £13.88

Job Responsibilities:

* Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently for loading and unloading timber sheets as well as other products occasionally.
 
* Accurately picking and transporting timber products to designated storage areas.
 
* Manual handling, including lifting, moving, and stacking goods securely.
 
* Conducting detailed quality checks on incoming and outgoing goods to ensure they meet required standards.
 
* Reporting any damaged goods or discrepancies promptly to supervisors.
 
* Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and organisation, ensuring work spaces remain safe and accessible.
 
* Following health and safety guidelines rigorously to promote a secure working environment for all employees.
 
* Assisting with inventory management and stock control when required.
Requirements:
 
* Valid Counterbalance Forklift License
 
* Previous warehouse experience
 
* Double Pallet experience beneficial
Monday – Friday, 06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00 Rotating on a weekly basis
