Estimator - Facades

Location: West Tilbury

My client are a mid-size façade contractor with offices in London, specialising in manufacturing and installing glazing, security, cladding, and metalwork products to the construction industry. As a Façade Estimator, you will work across a diverse range of new-build and refurbishment tenders, including cladding systems, curtain walling, windows and doors, architectural metalwork, and associated secondary steel or support systems. You will take ownership of assigned enquiries from the initial review through to final submission, ensuring pricing accuracy, clear scoping, risk identification, and the delivery of competitive, compliant tender returns.

Experiecne:
Minimum 3 years of estimating or commercial experience in the UK construction industry. Strong ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and schedules. Capable of producing accurate take-offs and detailed cost build-ups. Understanding of façade buildability, sequencing, logistics and compliance requirements. Proficient with Excel and digital take-off software (e.g., Bluebeam, CostX, Autodesk). Desirable:
Knowledge of CWCT standards, UK Building Regulations and broader façade compliance requirements. Familiarity with JCT/NEC contracts. Experience contributing to tender methodology or written technical content. Experience mentoring junior staff or coordinating tender activities more independently. Understanding of façade manufacturing processes, fabrication constraints and lead times. Our clients and their customers come from diverse backgrounds and so do we.
