MRO Buyer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities    Purchase and manage MRO inventory
Manage MRO spending through working relationships with vendors, addressing quality performance, delivery, and cost issues
Manage the budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities
Support corporate sourcing strategies by tracking spending and savings goals
Provide multi-departmental support by addressing specific manufacturing support needs
Work on special projects as assigned

Knowledge of inventory management and control systems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
English proficiency (85% minimum)

Minimum Qualifications , Education, and Experience
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required. Business or Engineering preferred
3-5 years of experience in a similar role within the medical industry
Oracle (preferred experience)
CPIM (preferred experience)
