** Please note that this is a short term, temporary position expected to last 2 months
**** The role, at a glance:
** The Warehouse Associate I is responsible for packaging and preparing outgoing shipments, through assisting internal teams, to ensure that demand is fulfilled accurately and in a timely manner, as well as receiving product on the dock. Compenation for this role is $18.00 per hour.
** How you'll contribute:
*** Transact customer orders using ERP system
* Provide quality control inspections, as necessary, within the workflow
* Pick product for shipping, ensuring all required items are picked and ready for packaging
* Affix packaging labels to cartons
* Receive product, processing into the system as well as unloading trailers
* Take an accurate inventory count of finished goods and materials, as assigned
* Converting products into bundles, kits and re-packages
** You'll also support with:
*** Maintaining good communication and rapport with co-workers
* Ensuring designated warehouse areas are kept organized and neat
* Keeping Lead and/or supervisor informed of issues on the warehouse floor
* Other duties as assigned
** A successful candidate should have:
*** 0-1-year experience in general warehouse duties including; receiving, packaging, and shipping
* Must be able to work Monday through Friday shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
* Must be able to obtain Forklift certification within the first three months of employment
* Ability to adjust work pace in response to daily needs
* Maintain good communication and rapport with co-workers
* Able to be flexible in a dynamic work environment while maintaining strong attention to detail
* Must be able to communicate clearly in English including both written and verbal skills
* Basic Computer

Skills:

Excel, Word, Outlook
* Ability to learn new software applications including navigating through ERP systems preferred
* Attendance is a critical function of this position
** Work Environment:
*** Warehouse and Manufacturing environment
* Ability to lift 15 lbs. frequently and up to 100 lbs. periodically with assistance
* Stand or sit for long periods
* Perform tasks (that may be repetitive) that require reaching, pushing, pulling, kneeling, walking, stooping and/or bending
* Use tools that require fine hand skills
* Visually observe, and differentiate, small moving parts
* Ability to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as required in designated areas
