Warehouse Associate (Order Selector) – Portland

You’ll be a key player in our warehouse team, helping to move, manage, and deliver products efficiently and safely. Whether you’re loading trailers, picking orders, or leading associates, you’ll work in a fast‑paced, multi‑temperature environment focused on accuracy, teamwork, and safety. Your efforts keep our supply chain flowing smoothly—from receiving goods, staging inventory, to shipping orders out on time.

What You’ll Do:
  • Safely operate material handling equipment: pallet jacks and forklifts (certification required for forklift)
  • Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments and verify order accuracy and product quality
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company standards
  • Use warehouse technology (RF scanners, inventory systems) to track orders and inventory
  • Follow all QIP and sanitation policies and safety protocols
Selector (Picker) Specific:
  • Accurately pick, lift, and place products to build pallets per customer orders
  • Operate forklifts/pallet jacks safely in high‑traffic warehouse areas
  • Visually inspect and verify all incoming/outgoing product
  • Maintain safety, productivity, and cleanliness standards at all times; read labels, count product, complete order paperwork, and support the team with cleaning and additional duties as needed
All Associates:

In This Role You’ll:

What You’ll Bring :
All Associates:
  • Comfort working in varying temperatures including freezer and cooler environments
  • Strong attention to detail, teamwork skills, and commitment to safety
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Experience with warehouse management systems and handheld scanners preferred
Selector (Picker) Specific:
  • Valid forklift certification and 6+ months of safe equipment operation
  • Strong reading/math skills for labeling, counting, and documentation
  • Use a voice‑directed picking system (VoCollect headset) to accurately select and prepare customer orders
Schedule & Setting:
  • Full time, on‑site in a temperature‑controlled warehouse (dry, cooler freezer: –5°F to 38°F)
  • Primarily a 4‑day work week
  • Must be able to work both night or day shift
  • Physically active role with repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking for extended periods
Pay & Benefits:
  • $23.71/hour + $1/hour differential for working Friday‑Sunday
  • Union role
