Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Shipper & Receiver to join our team. This position is responsible for preparing outgoing shipments and coordinating with the Customer Service team to ensure that all shipping documents are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

• Transact customer orders using both carrier and ERP systems.
• Provide quality control inspections, as necessary, within the workflow.
• Package and tape international shipments in multi-pack cartons for export.
• Affix shipping labels on packed cartons.
• Take an accurate inventory count at the end of each day.
• Serve as a back-up order picker as needed.
• Assemble cardboard cartons as needed for large, multipack shipments.
• Move prepared shipments from shipping cart to dock door as needed.
• Call and/or email forwarding companies to arrange pick-up.
• Consign shipments to forwarders and ensure the correct shipments are consigned to the forwarder by listening carefully and checking documents.

• Forklift Certification required (or ability to obtain certification)

Work in a new Distribution Center with an environment similar to a large warehouse with lots of racks. Utilize material handling equipment to stage orders for shipment. Day Shift hours are Monday to Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm, and Swing Shift hours are Monday to Friday, 1:30pm-10:00pm. Dress code is casual.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tigard, OR.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 – $18.00/hr.
