. The role is fully remote with travel required approximately 40% of the time to engage with clients and attend industry events.

Position SummaryThe Regional Sales Director will acquire and grow relationships with new individual brokers, producer groups, and national accounts, building on existing broker relationships in the Pacific Northwest – Washington, Oregon, Northern California, Idaho, Montana, and Alaska. The role is an independent contributor with no direct reports. Responsibilities include strategy, account status reporting, marketing initiatives, and achieving production goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Implement key account strategies and processes, including Gold Sheet, action plan, and strategic marketing plan.
- Develop and maintain existing broker/account relationships and recruit new brokers/accounts.
- Communicate account status to the DBS team, including onboarding issues.
- Continuously develop industry, concept, carrier, and product knowledge.
- Contribute to overall success and profitability of the agency.
- Meet or exceed assigned account production goals.
- Past sales and relationship management experience in life insurance required.
- FINRA Series 6 or 7, or 63 required.
- College degree or higher education preferred.
- Life and Health License preferred.
- Leadership, organizational and people skills, flexibility, team orientation.
- Ability to travel within the assigned region (~50%).
- Strong written and oral communication, planning, and prioritizing skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office, Salesforce (or similar CRM), Concur, and other business/communication tools.
- Quick learner of new systems and technologies.
- High focus on quality, customer satisfaction, and urgency.
- Team participation and effective collaboration.
Competitive base salary of $75,000 plus commission, with top performers capable of earning $250,000+ annually. Base salary range for this position is $60,000–$75,000.
