Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T0345) rting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $18.25 USD per hour.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks.
• When guests need assistance, engage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needs.
• Make the guest aware of current promos, store activities and events.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to solve issues for the guest and improve their experience.
• Thank guests and let them know we’re happy they chose to shop at Target.
• Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs with every guest and assist with application or sign-up as needed.
• Scan and bag all guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices.
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining guest service and accuracy.
• Understand and show guests how to use features and offerings within the Target App including Wallet.
• Be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering, and know how to direct the guest to enroll, activate and use these features.
• Handle returns following register prompts; partner with Leaders as needed to help solve for the guest while following Target’s policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area by gathering unpurchased items, baskets, and hangers for removal.
• Stock supplies during store open hours while being available for the guest.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance; work in a safe manner at all times and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as order pick up (OPU), Drive-up (DU) Orders, DU Returns and maintain compliance with applicable laws and policies.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Ability to stay focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established time frames.

• Accurately handle checkout operations, transactions, and support cash office operations as needed.
• Scan, handle and move merchandise safely; lifting up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 44 pounds occasionally with or without assistance.
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends and holidays); reliable attendance is required.
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Work in varying temperatures and conditions while performing duties (Drive-Up, carryout, etc.).
