- Assist with training, coaching, mentoring and scheduling.
- Support employees in the restaurant and room service to ensure guests are receiving attentive and efficient service.
- Proactively engage in conversation with guests, seeking feedback about their stay and their dining experience.
- Apply problem solving skills to resolve guest issues or complaints to their satisfaction.
- Monitor all food and beverage deliveries for portion control, quality and presentation.
- Ensure that food handling and safety guidelines are followed, including kitchen logs.
- Oversee inventory, ordering and receiving of all food and beverage items.
- Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.
Previous food handling, server or lead server experience is required. You must be able to obtain a Food Handler’s Permit and Alcohol Server’s Permit. To be successful in this role, you need strong verbal and written communication skills. You must be able to read, write, type and use basic technology. This job requires you to stand and move around for an entire shift and you also must be able to lift at least 25 pounds.
