Quality Control Inspector

Our client, a leading organization in the medical device manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join their team. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be an essential part of the Quality Assurance department supporting production and engineering teams.

Job Title: Quality Control Inspector

Location: Tigard, OR

Pay Range: $25 per hour

What's the Job?

• Perform visual and physical inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
• Use precision measuring tools and lab equipment to verify product dimensions and performance.
• Maintain accurate documentation of Lot History Records (LHR), batch records, and inspection logs in compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and FDA regulations.
• Identify, classify, and report defects, managing non-conforming materials through Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and supporting investigations.
• Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field is preferred.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, especially within regulated industries such as medical devices or pharmaceuticals, is highly desirable.
• At least 1+ years of experience in quality inspection or a related role.
• Proficiency in using software like SAP, POMS, or Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
• Understanding of ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR Part 820 regulations.
