DevOps & QA Automation Engineer

Position: Dev Ops & QA Automation Engineer at Pro Focus Technology

Location: On-site 4 days a week (M‑TH) in Portland, Oregon

Pay: $65‑75/hr (dependent on experience)

Engagement type: Contract with potential transition to FTE

• Partner with Lead Dev Ops and Lead QA Engineer to increase bandwidth and productivity, owning CI/CD pipeline quality, build/test automation, environment stability, and release readiness across Azure, .NET, VueJS, and expanding data platforms.
• Work closely with developers, cloud engineering, and QA to streamline delivery, remove friction, and continuously improve how software is built and released.

• 5+ years of professional experience in development, QA, automation, and Dev Ops, preferably from a dev background.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, proven experience with the Microsoft Tech Stack (C#, .NET), and comfort with Azure Dev Ops.
• Experience running and building automation tests and scripts.
• Experience creating pipelines for deployment.
• Familiarity with Terraform or similar tools and observability tools such as Data Dog.
• Experience using AI tools (e.g., CoPilot) in daily workflow.
• Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative Agile environment involving developers, product, QA, and Cloud/Dev Ops.
• Clear, effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Authorization to work in the US (no visa sponsorship).
