Behind every smooth payday is someone who cares deeply about getting the details right. This organization is looking for a Payroll & Benefits specialist who brings precision, discretion, and a strong service mindset to support the team.
In this role, you’ll prepare and enter semi-monthly payroll data in the HRIS, maintain the accuracy and integrity of employee records, and collaborate with department managers and supervisors to ensure timecards are complete, accurate, and properly authorized. A strong understanding of payroll compliance is essential, as you’ll manage payroll reconciliations, process after-hours pay, and stay current on applicable state and local payroll regulations.
Your organizational and numerical strengths will come into play as you oversee payroll deductions, process monthly insurance carrier billings, and prepare annual ACA 1094 and 1095 reports. You’ll also support retirement plan administration by producing 401(k) audit documentation, reviewing reports and submissions, and conducting regular HRIS audits to ensure data accuracy.
