Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, board-certified or board-eligible Primary Care Physician to join The Portland Clinic's collaborative, multispecialty team delivering comprehensive outpatient care to adult patients (or all ages for Family Medicine). This role emphasizes proactive health maintenance , chronic disease management, and continuity of care within an innovative, value-driven model. With strong referral relationships, integrated care resources, and Epic EHR, physicians enjoy clinical autonomy with robust support.

This is a full-time, outpatient-only position with a predictable schedule, no hospital call, and a strong pathway to partnership. Portland's wellness-oriented population is highly engaged in preventative care, and The Portland Clinic's longstanding presence ensures deep community trust.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality patient care in a fully outpatient setting
  • Collaborate with internal specialties and support staff
  • Productivity expectations align with MGMA medians
  • Utilize EPIC/Mychart EHR and telemedicine as needed
  • Participate in quality initiatives and innovation pilots
  • Build long-term relationships with patients and families

A competitive salary/compensation package is offered, as well as the potential for future partnership. Benefits include:

  • Productivity incentives & value-based bonuses
  • Compensation(BOE)-$240-$300K (based on 40hr of patient facing care per week)
  • $100,000 sign-on bonus, paid in for installments over the first four years ($25,000 each)
  • Two-year guaranteed base salary

With a high community demand for primary care physicians and providers, TPC looks to expand our Family and Internal Medicine departments. Patient care is complemented by a full suite of ancillary services including imaging (MRI, CT, Xray, US, Mammography, and DXA), in-house laboratory, an Ambulatory Surgical Center, and Urgent Care. Epic is our EMR.

With physician leaders guiding the organization, we promote a collaborative structure with our physicians and providers to ensure excellent patient care and quality of life balance. Physicians and providers are supported by medical assistants and registered nurses as well as social work and care management teams through our Population Health department. Patients have access to clinical services including behavioral health, diabetes nurse eduction, nutrition, and our anticoagulation clinic.
