CFM is a fun, fast-paced, 45-year family-owned wholesale company selling flooring, tile, countertops and cabinets in OR, WA, AZ with our headquarters in Tigard, Oregon.
We are looking for an Accounting Associate/Accounts Payable to join our team at our Tigard, Oregon location. Your daily responsibility and call to action is for the accounts payable processing for a high volume of payables, statement reconciliations, vendor communication and external reporting. Reporting includes to external organizations for positive pay uploads and 1099’s.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum two year's accounting experience with a strong emphasis on accounts payable in a high-volume setting. We are looking for someone who prides themselves on accurate work, excellent organization skills and basic accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Excel is a requirement.
- Communication skills – Professionally interact, both written and spoken, with customers, management, CFM team members and vendors in a professional manner.
- Integrity – Must maintain confidentiality and accuracy with all aspects of company and customer sensitive information at all times.
- Time management – Process and track high-volume of vendor payments via checks, EFT’s and online payments
- Accuracy - Strong focus, planning, organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage changing priorities, handle multiple projects, while maintaining a high degree of attention to detail, accuracy and deadlines.
- Teamwork – Ability to function independently and as part of a team with a positive attitude, strong work ethic and commitment to excellence. Support the Controller with administrative tasks and special projects.
- Customer service – Exhibit excellent customer service in person, on the phone or in all written correspondence.
- Problem solving –The ability to problem solve and take initiative. Handle vendor inquiries and resolve billing discrepancies
