Residential Field Sales Rep (South Georgia Area)
The Field Sales Representative is responsible for generating sales and sales leads within an assigned geographical area by engaging with residential prospects, understanding their needs and challenges, and proposing Tru Vista products and services. This role will focus on the South Georgia service areas including Tifton, Waycross, Leesburg, Fitzgerald, Soperton, Douglas, and Sylvester. A company‑owned or personal vehicle may be required, with mileage reimbursement based on IRS published mileage rate.
Responsibilities- Market Tru Vista services by presenting products and services in a door‑to‑door environment to generate sales and sales leads in neighborhoods and other residential locations.
- Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales quota and other goals set forth by the Director of D2D and MDU Sales.
- Develop a high level of understanding of Tru Vista products and services and fiber advantages to effectively discuss services with residents.
- Build rapport to generate sales and sales leads, and overcome objections.
- Work flexible hours, including evenings and Saturdays.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Work at multiple locations within a territory, including but not limited to Tift, Worth, Colquitt, Cook, Crisp, Atkinson, Treutlen, Montgomery, Dooly, County, and extended areas as required.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned by management.

- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 6 months to 1 year of related experience and/or training.
- Industry experience is preferred; experience in cable, wireless, or other telecommunication products is a plus.
- Prior sales experience and skill in persuasion techniques is a must.
- Ability to work with little supervision, motivated, and self‑directed.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
The employee will regularly be required to talk and hear, stand, walk, sit, reach, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. The role involves going door to door in various weather conditions, with minimal office time.
