Our retail store provides the fuel, the face, and the gateway to all the awesome services we provide for individuals, families and organizations in the communities we serve. As a cashier, you are responsible for ensuring our customers have an amazing shopping experience by providing a welcome greeting, accurately processing cash register transactions and actively soliciting rounds-up opportunities. The cashier demonstrates customer commitment and personal effectiveness and plays a key role in our mission.

Retail Associate – Cashier

Part-time

• Ensures that each guest receives outstanding customer service.
• Assists customers with purchases and pricing.
• Operates the cash register system and applies basic math skills including addition and subtraction of money.
• Understands item pricing and “color of the week”.
• Maintains the sales floor and dressing room appearance by organizing shelves, putting away carts, and returning merchandise from the dressing room to the sales floor.
• Asks customers to “Round-Up” totals in support of our mission and/or scholarship programs.
• Meets or exceeds daily retail store goals.
• Works other areas of the store as requested by the leadership team.

You will be hired as a Retail Associate – Cashier, however, you will be cross-trained and expected to learn and work all areas of the retail operation.

Hours A part-time position averages 20-25 hours per week. Hours will fluctuate based on business needs (seasonal changes, donation volumes, etc.). Operating days will fluctuate based on store location. The Retail Associate – Cashier must be available to work any shifts Monday through Sunday.

• Basic math skills.
• Prior experience working in a retail or customer service-related environment, is preferred.
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), is preferred.
• Cash handling experience, is preferred.
• Warehouse experience, is preferred.
