DescriptionAs a Houseman, you play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of the hotel. This position supports the housekeeping and maintenance teams by ensuring all public areas, guest spaces, and back-of-house areas meet high cleanliness standards. This will also include outside trash cans. You will make sure flower beds are trash‑free, and our pool area is clean and fresh daily.
You will interact with guests and provide a welcoming atmosphere in alignment with our property’s vision, mission, and values.
- Must be willing to learn from Maintenance. You will assist Maintenance from time to time to help clean Air Conditioners and many other Maintenance projects in order for us to maintain our hotel and keep it fresh and clean for our Guests.
- Must be able to keep the outside of our property free from debris and empty all trash cans around the entire property daily. This is completed every morning to help us maintain a clean property.
- Ensure our pool area is trash‑free and furniture is wiped down daily.
- Time Management is required, and communication skills will be needed.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.

- Assist with floor care, including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet cleaning.
- Greet guests warmly and assist with any reasonable requests.
- Ensure guest areas remain tidy by promptly removing trash and ground litter.
- Support hotel operations as needed to maintain high service standards.
- Experience in maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in a hospitality setting.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and guidelines consistently.
- Proven track record of working collaboratively with housekeeping and maintenance teams.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure all public and guest areas meet cleanliness standards.
- Ability to handle and dispose of trash and recycling safely and efficiently.
- Experience in floor care, including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet cleaning.
- Excellent communication skills to warmly greet guests and assist with their requests.
- No prior experience required; training provided.
